2) your current program of study
3) your new contact information in the US (address and phone number)

In order to transfer, please keep in mind that you must have been admitted to a program here at the University of Dayton. You will also need to maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.0 at your current institution. You must have an official transcript from your current program sent directly to the University of Dayton once grades have posted at the end of the academic term.

At the end of the academic term, please ask your international student advisor about transferring your SEVIS record to the University of Dayton. A transfer clearance form will be attached to this email. You should fill out this form along with your international student advisor. Please do not attempt to have your SEVIS record transferred here until you have finished your studies at your current institution, have been admitted to the University of Dayton, and are certain you will be coming to the University of Dayton. (per immigration regulations, only one institution is allowed to maintain a student's SEVIS record at any given point in time)

Please bring the following to our office when you arrive on campus:

1. any final academic documents indicated in your original letter of acceptance
2. new financial documentation issued within the past 6 months (bank statement and sponsor letter)

We will issue your new I-20 once you arrive on campus with the above documentation. In any case we would not be able to issue an I-20 until your SEVIS record has been transferred to the University of Dayton.
