This is an exciting time to be a student at the University of Denver. Our newly constructed building provides state-of-the-art tools for learning, while our knowledgeable and dedicated faculty offer challenging and exciting courses. You have the option to focus in an area of law you’re passionate about, such as international law, environmental and natural resources law, public interest law, business and commercial law, and tax law. Or, you can explore interests across the legal continuum. You’ll also find dual-degree programs, LL.M. programs, and a flexible evening J.D. program.

At the Sturm College of Law you have the opportunity to represent clients in one of five on-campus clinics, participate on the staff of one of our many well respected journals, and take advantage of the internship opportunities available in downtown Denver.

University of Denver Sturm College of Law at the Atlanta Forum

We are excited to hear that you have registered to attend the Atlanta Forum. The forum provides an excellent opportunity for you to personally speak with law school professionals and takes you one step closer to your aspiration of attending law school. To help you reach your goals, the University of Denver Sturm College of Law would like to share some initial information with you about our programs and invite you to visit our table at the forum. You can find us at table 26 at the Hyatt Regency Atlanta from 12:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. on Friday, October 26th and 10:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. on Saturday, October 27th.

This is an exciting time at the Sturm College of Law. Our newly constructed, state-of-the-art building provides a well planned and comfortable atmosphere with spaces designed to facilitate the exchange of ideas. From our wired classrooms to our technologically enhanced training courtroom, your learning environment prepares you for success in an increasingly multidisciplinary and international world.

Here are a few Sturm College of Law highlights:

The Sturm College of Law offers a traditional J.D. program, as well as Master of Law (LL.M.) degrees in several distinctive areas of study. We also offer specialty programs and dual degrees.

Our Student Law Office, one of the oldest and most exciting clinical programs in the country, allows students to begin representing clients beginning in their second year. Under the supervision of experienced faculty, students represent indigent clients in a number of different areas of law.

The Sturm College of Law’s moot court program is the first ever to win both the National Civil Trial Competition and the American Trial Lawyers Association Competition in the same year.

The American Bar Association recently honored the University of Denver Sturm College of Law with the organization’s highest award for achievement in environmental law, emphasizing DU’s place among the nation’s top-ranked institutions in the field.

The University of Denver is just ten minutes from downtown Denver, Colorado.
