The Villanova University School of Law

Dear JD admitted student Christian Milan jurisdoctorstud:

Villanova University School of Law is looking forward to meeting you at the Washinton, DC Forum. Please come by to visit with us at table number 600.

A law degree opens many doors, and we feel strongly that Villanova University School of Law is a wonderful place to obtain that degree. Villanova Law offers a highly demanding academic program but also has a strong sense of community with an educational philosophy informed by humanist tradition. A broad array of advanced courses builds upon a solid core curriculum and is designed to produce sophisticated lawyers trained for leading roles in any area of practice.

In addition to courses leading to a J.D. degree, we offer a joint J.D./M.B.A. program, and a joint J.D./L.LM. in Taxation. The School of Law is considered a leader in implementing information technologies in legal education and the profession, as well as in developing the jurisprudence applicable to these emerging technologies. We offer extensive opportunities for studying international law, intellectual property law, public interest law, tax law and other specialty areas.

One of Villanova’s greatest strengths is its extraordinarily loyal and active alumni, who serve as a vital network for helping our students find rewarding employment not only in the Philadelphia area (the fifth largest legal market in the nation) but throughout the Northeast and in other major legal markets around the country.

Villanova’s location, which combines the best of the suburban and the urban, makes the Law School a wonderful place to study, work and live. Situated in the scenic and historic Philadelphia Main Line suburbs, the Law School is only fifteen miles from Center City (downtown) Philadelphia, which offers not only abundant employment and internship opportunities, but all the excitement of a major city. Mass transit and an extensive network of highways connect Villanova to Philadelphia, the major metropolitan areas of Washington, D.C. and New York City, as well as the wider northeastern region of the country.

Please feel free to contact us at (610) 519-7010 or email us at admissions@law.villanova.edu with questions you may have. Once again, we look forward to meeting you in Washington, DC.

Sincerely,
